Afternoon Tea July 21 2024

The Village Hall Committee put on an afternoon tea for villagers and friends to say thank you for their continuing support. A personal invitation was delivered in June and over 90 people accepted this.
The Hall was laid up with vintage china and jars of flowers decorated the tables as seen in the photos below

Cheese, Egg, Smoked Salmon, Coronation Chicken, Cucumber,
Tuna and Ham Sandwiches
Sausage Rolls, Scotch Eggs
Scones with Jam, Cream and Strawberries
A selection of Cakes and Shortbread
Tea and Coffee

It was lovely to see some many people enjoying themselves and meeting old friends and making new ones. The afternoon concluded with a special raffle with some lovely prizes
